Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives Kong Xianhua Pays a Courtesy Call on Maldivian Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy H.E. Ali Shareef

On September 3, Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives H.E. Kong Xianhua pays a courtesy call on newly appointed Maldivian Maldivian Minister of Climate Change, Environment and Energy H.E. Ali Shareef. The meeting was also attended by Counselor Mr. Zhang Xu from the Chinese Embassy.

Ambassador Kong stated that both China and Maldives are highly concerned about green and sustainable development. Both sides will continue to implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, deepen cooperation in new energy, environment and other fields, and promote the building of a China-Maldives community with a shared future to go deeper and more practical.

Shareef expressed his gratitude to China for its continued support and assistance in the fields of environment and new energy, and hoped that both sides would continue to deepen cooperation in the future to promote high-quality development of China-Maldives cooperation in the field of environment and others.
